A man is in custody after police responded to a residence after a report of a stabbing. Another man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A man is dead following a stabbing in east London early Saturday morning, according to the London Police Service.
Police were called to a residence on Hamilton Rd. near Rectory St. just after midnight.
Officers found a man with serious stab wounds. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Another man has been taken into custody.
Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
