A Former All-American Passed Away This Week

A former college football All-American passed away earlier this week. Former USC star Tim Rossovich passed away on Thursday after battling a lengthy illness, USC announced.

Rossovich was 72. The former Trojans star went on to play in the NFL after the Philadelphia Eagles made him a first-round pick in 1968.

Rossovich went on to become a star in Hollywood following his NFL career. The former Trojan got his start in movies and TV by doing stunts for the 1978 Burt Reynolds movie, Hooper.

USC Athletics posted a message about their former star.

Our thoughts are with the Rossovich family and USC community.
